Anyone who has visited Ibiza knows all too well its magic lies not only in its nightlife, but also its idyllic natural landscapes and quintessential Balearic towns. Humming with vitality and excitement, this irresistible concoction has resulted in Ibiza’s heady bohemian attracting creatives and artists for decades. In their wake, Ibiza has become a unique destination for locally inspired design, crafts and fashion to forever serve as inspiration for global designers with HoK Design Studio at the front of the line.

Santa Gertrudis, located in the centre of Ibiza’s rural interior, is one of the island’s true gems. Home to rustic restaurants and bars, plus a world-famous market, this small countryside town has welcomed a new addition to its scene by way of La Maison nº74. A sister showroom to the already well-established L’Atelier nº74 concept store and restaurant located only a few minutes away, this new outlet takes the brand’s signature design ethos to a new level.

Housed within a traditional Ibicenco farmhouse, La Maison nº74 invites visitors to a 360-degree immersive experience of the ‘home’ dedicated wholly to home decoration and styling. Bespoke, hand-selected collections of soft furnishings and textiles are placed considerately throughout for visitors to explore, feel and enjoy the retained authenticity of the building’s former life as a family home.

This new design haven is thanks to the shared creative vision of nº74 founder Tara Sfez and La Maison nº74 manager Ambra Degli Agosti. Sfez credits not only Ibiza but also visits to neighbouring Mallorca, the mainland and also Paris as their source for La Maison nº74’s vintage collections. Giving life to restored objects whilst showcasing new intricate creations, visitors can expect a range of pieces from hand-crafted bedding and kitchen tables derived of organic materials to tableware of earthy tones synonymous with Ibiza.

“We found so many beautiful things that matched with the brand,” says Agosti. “People throw away a lot of things that could be given the opportunity to have a second life. So many vintage things were handmade by artisans with a lot of passion. These pieces have history, and we also have a vision for how they can be restored and used in the future.” As a result, everything you see in La Maison nº74 is given a new lease of by its team before making it to the showroom floor.

A new design destination to add to your Ibiza hotlist, La Maison nº74 is truly unmissable for those seeking an authentic slice of loved Ibiza style at home.
